Weidmuller is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its North American operations, which include corporate headquarters in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Weidmuller’s North American headquarters, located in Richmond, Va., commemorated its anniversary year with a 20,000-square-foot expansion of its facility. The added space includes offices for the customer/technical support organization, product management, and the value-added services group. It also features a new Customer Innovation Center – a training facility with high-tech multi-media displays. Weidmuller’s Canada location has grown in the past 40 years from a two-person operation to the market leader in industrial connectivity in Canada with more than 45 on-site employees and 25 field representatives. This year, its growth continued with a 30% expansion in warehouse and assembly workstation space.
