Amphenol to Buy CommScope’s Connectivity & Cable Solutions Business

Amphenol announced that it will buy CommScope’s connectivity and cable solutions business for $10.5 billion.
The all-cash transaction is aimed at diversifying Amphenol’s industrial interconnect products, particularly in the building infrastructure connectivity market.
The acquisition will help Amphenol capitalize on surging broadband and 5G demand, while positioning the company at the forefront of the rapidly evolving connectivity landscape.
This is Amphenol’s largest acquisition to date.
