Phoenix Contact Appoints Davis Mathews CEO of US Operations

Phoenix Contact has appointed Davis Mathews as chief executive officer of its U.S. operations, bringing seasoned leadership and a forward-looking vision to guide the company’s next phase of growth.

Mathews will spearhead efforts to deepen the company’s footprint in the United States, while aligning advanced technical competencies with customer-centric solutions. Over his 30-year career at Phoenix Contact, Mathews has excelled at various levels of leadership, beginning in product marketing and most recently as an executive board member. He previously held the position of president of industry management and automation and was a senior vice president of development.

Outside of Phoenix Contact, Mathews serves on the board of directors for ODVA, an international standards development and trade organization with members from the world’s leading automation suppliers.
