Mouser Electronics is further developing its already expansive global headquarters and distribution center, located just south of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, to meet the needs of its flourishing business well into the next decade. Construction is underway to add more than 125,000 square feet to the distribution center, as well as a new 50,000 square-foot office building. Upon completion, Mouser’s massive, 78-acre global headquarters and distribution center will comprise one million square feet to better accommodate the company’s vast inventory of one million unique SKUs for products and technologies from more than 750 electronic component manufacturers and effectively satisfy increasing worldwide customer demand buoyed by technological advancements including IoT, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, robotics, and 5G. Mouser’s 24-hour global distribution center fulfills tens of thousands of orders per day, leveraging significant capital investments in state-of-the-art, automated equipment to process orders with best-in-class efficiency and accuracy and ship to more than 600,000 customers in 220 countries.
The company registered $1.9 billion in sales in 2018 and is on track to surpass that number this year; it also expanded its full-time global workforce to more than 2,400 and is set to provide local customer service in four new global locations: Brazil, Poland, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
